FAQ
Straight answers before money moves.
The best transactions start with clear expectations. Here are the practical answers buyers and suppliers usually need before deciding what to do next.

Before you start
Questions that affect the transaction
Browse by topic, then bring us the exact product and commercial context if you need a transaction-specific answer.
SourcingWhat can RetailKid help me source?
RetailKid focuses on legal, identifiable products that can move through ordinary commercial channels. Common requests include consumer electronics, gaming and computing products, beauty and personal care, smart devices, cameras, limited releases and other exact-product requests. Other categories can be reviewed case by case.
SourcingDo I need an exact SKU or product link?
It is strongly recommended. A product link, SKU or exact model lets us compare real availability and pricing much faster. If you only know the category, we can still review the request, but the answer will remain preliminary until the product is identified.
SourcingCan you buy from U.S. retail stores?
Yes, when the product is lawfully available and the transaction makes commercial sense. Depending on the request, we may check public retail, brand-direct stores, specialist retailers, distributors or qualified suppliers. Mentioning a retailer does not imply an official partnership.
ProductsHow do you approach authenticity?
We prefer identifiable products and verifiable sourcing routes. Depending on the transaction, the record set may include order confirmations, model or serial information, current product photos, packing photos or agreed inspection notes.
ProductsDo you handle used or refurbished goods?
Selectively. Used and refurbished products require more condition grading, verification and after-sale risk management. For fast, repeatable transactions, new and standardized products are usually a better fit.
PaymentWhen does payment happen?
Payment timing depends on the transaction structure. Our normal sequence is to clarify the product, quantity, price, sourcing route, shipment assumptions and relevant terms before procurement or other paid execution begins.
PaymentDoes submitting a request commit me to buy?
No. Submission starts a review. A commercial commitment begins only after the relevant quote or transaction terms are confirmed by both sides.
ShippingCan RetailKid coordinate international shipping?
Yes, when the product, destination, counterparties and documentation are suitable. Shipping method, cost assumptions and responsibilities are reviewed as part of the transaction rather than added at the very end.
ShippingWho is responsible for duties and taxes?
That depends on the agreed delivery term and destination-country rules. Unless a quote explicitly says otherwise, duties and destination taxes should not be assumed to be included.
Customs & complianceCan you mark commercial goods as gifts or understate the value?
No. RetailKid does not support false gift declarations, undervaluation, hidden destinations or other customs shortcuts. Commercial goods should be documented truthfully.
Customs & complianceWhat if the product or destination is sensitive?
Sensitive products, destinations or end uses may require additional review, licensing or a different transaction structure. RetailKid will not proceed by disguising the destination, end user or product classification.
SuppliersWhat should a supplier submit?
At minimum: the exact product or SKU, available quantity, condition, stock location, asking price, realistic release timing and a clear explanation of who controls the goods. Proof may be requested before buyer matching.
SuppliersWill my supplier information be public?
Not by default. Supplier identity, pricing and commercial details are shared only when needed for a specific transaction or diligence process. We do not use supplier details as public marketing content without permission.
GeneralIs RetailKid a marketplace?
No. RetailKid is a buying, sourcing and trade desk. We help structure and execute specific transactions rather than operating an open marketplace with anonymous sellers.
GeneralWho operates RetailKid?
RetailKid is a cross-border commerce brand operated by SongKid Global LLC.
GeneralWhat is the fastest way to get started?
For a buying request, send the product link or SKU, quantity, destination and target price through the Sourcing Desk. For supply, send the product, available quantity, location, asking price and evidence that the inventory is real and controlled.

Need a transaction-specific answer?
Send the product. Add the commercial context.
The fastest way to get a useful answer is to include the product, quantity, destination, price expectation and timing. That gives us the context to respond commercially rather than generically.
